Ship Refit and Upgrade – Nautilus Luxury Yacht

The client contracted a local brokerage firm for the refit of an existing yacht. 6Sigma Naval Architecture department was subcontracted for the design and engineering consultancy. We changed this 50 year old yacht into a modern version of itself. Below are our renderings of the technical solutions. 1. The rather boring aft changed to a swimming platform with some steel structural changes, 2. provided a new engine room arrangement to accommodate the “seakeeper” stabilzer, snuggle in a bigger generator, modifications for underwater exhausts, twin bow thrusters, foredeck modifications for moving with flushdeck hatch cover to make space for two jet skis and a new anchor capstan.
