  … on to next 3D scanning reference project In one of our first projects, we used 3D scanning was when we needed to capture the hull shape of an older fishing vessel for which the owner didn’t have reliable drawings. We put the vessel on the syncrolift and completed a full ship scan. The conversion design was done as can be seen below to convert the fishing vessel to a luxury motor yacht. In the picture below you can see the accurate scan we got with all the little bumps on the hull giving a true reflection 🙂 see more at about this project in ship conversion
